COVID-19 Response

Dear Reader,

The Canton Public Library is pleased to announce Curbside Pickup services of library materials which will start on June 1st. The library has opened our book drops, though all due dates have been extended and fines waived through July 1st so you don't have to rush to return your materials.

Holds may be placed via the online catalog using your library account. Those requiring assistance may place holds over the phone by calling 781-821-5027.

Phone assisted holds as well as pickups will be scheduled during the following hours:

Monday: 3:00 PM-7:00 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Wednesday: 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM

At this time we will only be able to fill holds with Canton's locally owned materials and we appreciate your flexibility and patience. There may be longer than normal wait times for items and the number of items per library patron will be capped at 5 adult items and 10 children's items per transaction.

The library will also offer curbside printing services for those who need items printed out.

Our Summer Reading Program will also be offering craft and activity packets during curbside pickup hours. Call the children's library or check our website soon for Summer Reading information!

Your librarians are excited to begin connecting you with print books and materials again.
