The Unlikely Strummers, a ukulele band will perform2018-04-21T14:00:00The Unlikely Strummers, a ukulele group based at An Unlikely Story bookstore in Plainville will be donating a ukulele and tuner to the library, as part of the presentation the group will demonstrate the instrument in a short concert free to the public. The donated ukulele will become part of our kit collection and be available for loan to the public.

Open Book Coffeehouse2018-04-21T19:30:00Enjoy the relaxing, warm atmosphere of friendly people, good music, hot coffee, and home-baked goodies. The Open Book Coffeehouse is located on the Lower Level of the Canton Public Library. Parking is to the left when facing the library from Washington Street. Enter by the "Special Events" door to the left of the columns, midway into the parking area. Performances are held (usually) the third Saturday of the month from September through June. No advanced tickets. The doors open at 6:45 and the music begins promptly at 7:30 PM.
